As one of Spain’s first large-scale interdisciplinary conferences on ocean conservation and restoration, SeaWilding 2025 brings together leading researchers and experts in marine biodiversity to discuss solutions for development in this field. The event will take place in Barcelona, on October 23-25. 

Focused on driving meaningful change in the context of marine ecosystem preservation, this year’s edition of the conference specifically aims to address different themes, such as environmental law, economic incentives, overfishing, pollution, advocacy and nature-based solutions. In line with the objectives of the UN Ocean Decade and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, this event allows enthusiasts to meet each other, share perspectives, learn from each other and enhance cross-sector collaboration.
