On November 10-14, in Azores, Portugal, the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON) and the AIR Centre are organising an in-person workshop aimed at mobilising marine biological observation datasets to OBIS (Ocean Biodiversity Information System).  The main goal of the event is to train young professionals in the field of marine observations to follow good practices for standardising, sharing and storing biological data. 

Participants are expected to have familiarity with basic programming, working with taxonomic occurrence data, data structuring and Excel. 

Registration is possible until July 31, 2025.
