On December 2nd and 4th, 2024, ANERIS hosted two workshop sessions endorsed by the UN's Ocean Decade initiative. Organised in collaboration with Euro-BioImaging, France BioImaging, and Israel BioImaging, these workshops introduced a diverse audience to the technologies developed within the ANERIS project. The sessions were well-received and are now available on YouTube for broader access.
The workshops showcased advancements such as underwater image restoration, macro-organism detection, and the MINKA reporting app. Experts from institutions like CSIC, the University of Haifa, CNRS, and DRIBBA presented their innovations and provided valuable insights.
With approximately 150 participants from around the globe, the workshops brought together specialists in underwater imaging and image analysis to explore these developments, offer feedback, and help disseminate project progress to the wider community.
