ANERIS at EGU General Assembly 2025

08 May 2025

The ANERIS project participated in the EGU General Assembly 2025, which took place from April 27 to May 2. This major scientific event was a significant success, drawing nearly 21,000 participants. While most attendees traveled to Vienna, Austria, where the assembly was held, ANERIS joined online, taking advantage of the virtual participation options.

The General Assembly itself was a bustling hub of scientific exchange, featuring an impressive 18,934 presentations across 1,102 sessions. Notably, more than half of the accepted abstracts were contributed by Early Career Scientists (ECS), highlighting the vibrant future of research.

ICM-CSIC, a member of the ANERIS consortium, represented the project by hosting an online poster session focused on citizen science. This session served as an excellent platform to showcase the project's work and highlight some of the key activities and developments within ANERIS.

The presented poster can be accessed in the Media centre.
