ANERIS organises its first Co-Design Workshop with Science for Change and Pensoft Publishers

On December 9, ANERIS held an internal Co-Design Workshop, organised jointly by Pensoft Publishers and Science for Change, aimed at assessing current stakeholder engagement with ANERIS’ communication channels and examining how effectively target audiences were reached. The main goal of the workshop was to identify, based on consortium members’ opinions, which ANERIS outputs need greater visibility and clearer communication. With help from representatives from partnering institutions, the workshop proved to be a great success as it resulted in the exchange of new ideas on communication formats, future engagement opportunities, and dissemination activities.

The workshop was split into two parts: first, a presentation was given by Desislava Raykova, ANERIS' communication leader from Pensoft Publishers. She highlighted some key points related to communicating and disseminating results of Horizon Europe project, such as the use of appropriate channels and tools to reach the right target audiences, as well as the importance of utilising engaging and informative visual materials to expose project objectives and results. The workshop continued with an interactive Q&A session, led by the Science for Change team, engaging partners in several activities, aimed at shaping the future communication and dissemination strategy of the ANERIS project. Malena Bezares, co-design specialist from Science for Change, facilitated the Q&A session, walking partners through the different tasks and questions prepared on a Miro board. The discussion revolved around assessing the success of ANERIS’ communication and dissemination activities so far and the extent to which ANERIS has reached its key audiences. In addition, project members shared valuable suggestions on how to shape the project’s online communication to be more engaging and appealing, as well as ideas on new topics outside the scientific scope that might be interesting to ANERIS’ followers.

This workshop proved to be a great example of how teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge exchange altogether can lead to enhancing the visibility of ANERIS’ scientific outputs and results.
