During the biodiversity census and in-person talk at Fòrum – Barcelona on 19 July 2024, within the framework of RES-MED, the ANERIS project was presented and discussed with attendees. The event gathered partners, organisers, and researchers to tackle and adapt the effects of climate change by promoting coastal care and protection of different marine species on the coast of Barcelona. 

The overall objective of this talk was to spread knowledge regarding underwater diversity and its restoration through lectures and workshops, led by the marine experts Miquel Pontes (VIMAR) and Claudio Barra (Catsharks). ANERIS was featured in this session, helping the audience connect with the team’s efforts and raising awareness of today’s pressing issues in marine conservation.
