ANERIS attended the 2024 edition of the EGI Conference, organised by our partners from the EGI Foundation. The conference was held between the 30th of September and the 3rd of October in Lecce, Italy and saw over 300 participants.

The topic of the conference revolved around different aspects of computing and data infrastructure around Europe, applications of AI and Digital Twin models in the fields of sustainability, climate change, and marine biodiversity research.

ANERIS, together with the Horizon Europe project REST-COAST, hosted an exhibition booth with promotional materials of the two projects. ANERIS was also presented during a one-minute pitch. Partners from EGI, LifeWatch ERIC and Pensoft had the opportunity to meet in person and discuss, while also promoting collaboration between fellow projects like iMagine and Blue Cloud2026.
