From June 26th to 28th 2024, the 10th Living Knowledge conference, took place in Girona, Spain. 

Living Knowledge is a network of Science Shops and other organisations with similar objectives, which aims to engage the public in the research and innovation process by promoting an open dialogue between scientists and civil society. Biennially, this conference gathers participants from various universities, research centers, and institutions to discuss different science-related topics.

This year, the attendees explored the subject of building and sustaining next-generation engagement through numerous workshops, presentations, thematic sessions, and arts-based activities. On June 27th, members of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), one of ANERIS’s partners, took part in the event and delivered a research presentation on the equation of citizen science and data science.
