The ANERIS project will take part in TDWG 2026, the annual conference of Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG), taking place in Oslo, Norway, from 21–25 September. This year's conference, hosted in a hybrid format, carries the theme "Research and Robot-ready Biodiversity Data Standards" and brings together the global community working on data standards, infrastructure and tools for biodiversity informatics.

Sessions run at the Oslo Congress Center, with keynote talks from Tanya Berger-Wolf, Máret J Hætta and Ramona Walls, alongside a full programme of talks, workshops and side events, including the traditional TDWG Bioblitz, in which participants document local biodiversity via iNaturalist. 

As part of its presence at the conference, ANERIS will host a dedicated booth, where visitors to the booth will be able to explore project promotional materials, as well as talk to the project’s communications staff about the project's approach and results.

TDWG's community-driven standards, from Darwin Core to newer data infrastructure work, underpin much of how biodiversity data is shared and reused globally, making it a natural venue for ANERIS to connect with the wider biodiversity informatics community and share its own progress on marine biodiversity data.
