ANERIS turns 3!

ANERIS turns 3!

Three years ago, in January 2023, the ANERIS project set out with clear ambitions - to create and implement the next generation of scientific technologies for monitoring and managing marine life. As the project marks its third anniversary today, we are proud of the community we have built and the growth we have fostered together.

Over the past three years, ANERIS continued to work towards developing and refining its 11 technologies, as well as actively promoting its activities and progress at scientific conferences and events. Expanding citizen science and sharing knowledge remains at the heart of the project, with various workshops, marathons, courses, and public outreach activities being organised. A solid network of scientists, researchers, practitioners, and supporters from the wider public continue to contribute to ANERIS’ mission, reaching hundreds of participants and delivering impact for the years to come .

ANERIS’ third birthday is a moment to reflect on all that has been achieved, but also a chance to look ahead and keep moving forward. We take the opportunity to thank all partners, citizen scientists and supporters for the continuous commitment and support during this year and we are looking forward with excitement to the next one.
