EMSO (The European Multidisciplinary Seafloor and Water Column Observatory) is a unique marine multidisciplinary research infrastructure. Eight member states—Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Ireland, Norway, Greece, and Romania—have come together to explore and research the phenomena occurring within and below the oceans and their critical impact on Earth.

The EMSO-organised workshop will cover key sessions that highlight current trends and future directions in EMSO marine research and services. Its dynamic program features engaging sessions with prominent representatives from across the EMSO Consortium, as well as international organisations, research institutions, and private companies. The goal of the EMSO Strategic Workshop is to foster new collaborations to enhance the future of EMSO ERIC.
