From a Pub to the Research: ANERIS participated in the Pint of Science festival, presenting results
At the end of May this year, ANERIS participated in the Pint of Science festival, showcasing project’s results, discussing research, methods and milestones.
The Pint of Science festival is a non-profit organisation which aims to provide a space for researchers and members of the public to come together and share research insights while enjoying the relaxed environment of a pub. The initiative aims to give a friendly and safe space to all who enjoy having a pint with fellow researchers and coworkers.
ANERIS project partners Berta Companys (CSIC) and Rocio Aime Nieto Vilela (Biopolis) have taken part in this year’s events, showcasing ANERIS’ results. Companys participated in the Pint for Science in Tarragona with a talk titled Which species hide on the Tarragona Coast?, while Nieto Vilela participated in their event in Porto, with a presentation dedicated to BioMARatona: Beaches with Life-Citizen science monitoring.
