Summer lineup ahead for ANERIS: Workshops and conferences on marine innovation

A summer full of events lies ahead for the participants in the Horizon Europe project ANERIS. Events include workshops and conferences focused on marine technology, maritime affairs, at which attendees will be specialists, policymakers, scientists and many others. 

EMD 2025

One such occasion is the European Maritime Day 2025. EMD 2025, organised by the European Commission, is an annual event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy. The 2025 edition of the EMD will take place in Cork, Ireland, on 21-23 May. It features a large number of speakers, thematic sessions and stakeholder workshops.
The EMD targets professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia as well as EU citizens interested in the Sea.


 MarTech 2025

Another opportunity for ANERIS to gain visibility is the 12th international workshop on marine technology, MarTech 2025, that will take place from  28th - 29th May 2025  in Kulturgunea de Donibane, Pasaia, Gipuzkoa (Spain). The gathering is hosted by AZTI and will centre around sharing information and points of view on cutting-edge research in several fields of Marine Technology.


EGI 2025

Last, but not least on the summer agenda is the EGI 2025, an international conference gathering scientific communities, computing and service providers, European projects, security experts, community managers, and policymakers to advance research and innovation in data-intensive processing and analytics. The conference includes in-depth discussion, new insights and networking. EGI2025 will take place at the Palacio de la Magdalena in Santander, Spain, from June 2nd to June 6th, 2025.
